The New Thing - MAC Sheen Supreme Lipglass Tint

 When I spotted these at the oversized MAC stand in my local Fenwicks the other day, I practically squealed with delight. After swatching all of these, and trying a few on, I decided this shade was coming home with me, but according to the sales assistant, these are a permanent addition to the line, so I fear an expensive love affair may be beginning.

So what is it? Basically, it's a knock off of the YSL Glossy stain, sorta. It's a lipgloss that wears off to leave a stain, but the formula and texture is very different to YSL's. More like cousins than sisters, if you will.

I picked up Glorious Intent, which is a deep berry pink, perfect as we head back into the colder part of the year. It's a pen (duh) and you twist the end to get more product, which I really like, more than the clicky ones, since I always manage to click them whilst they're inside my handbag. The wear of these are excellent, the gloss fades fairly quickly, but the stain stays put for at least six hours.

I love this on it's own, but it also looks great layered over MAC Plumful and Rebel, but also this Topshop Lip Crayon.
