Okay, so if there's one thing I didn't need, it was another foundation. Well, I mean, let's face it, I don't need any more makeup at all. But you know. It's an addiction.
ANYWAY. I'd been eyeballing the new L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation for almost forever. Since pretty much every other country in the world got it before us, I had a long time lusting after it. But it finally arrived and boy was it worth the wait.
I picked this up in the shade Porcelain, and it's a perfect match for my pastier-than-pasty complexion. It's light and easy to blend, but depending on what tool you apply this with, you can get a real pack of coverage with this. I apply this with my Beauty Blender for a lighter finish, or my buffing brush for more medium coverage.
What I love about this foundation though is how comfortable it feels on the skin. It's water based so it really just soaks into the skin rather than sitting on top of it all day. It's really natural looking, and it's quick to apply too, it blends out like a dream! The sponge applicator is also super handy for on the go touch ups!
I also picked up the L'Oreal Glam Bronze Cushion de Soleil Bronzer on a whim. I'm not really sure why, since I honestly didn't expect to like this product, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Now, I'll admit I have yet to try this in conjunction with another foundation, so it might just be with this one, but this stuff just blends into your base like a dream. Applied over foundation as a bronzer, it blends into the skin without disrupting your base, just adding a golden glow. Under foundation, it just warms up the skin enough to make you look like you've got a post-holiday glow.
Two I know I'll be reaching for over and over again this summer!
