It's been so long since I've allowed myself to get lost in a good book - so the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child launch was the perfect excuse.
I blocked off an evening to myself, drew the curtains against the rainy London skies, lit my new Bath and Bodyworks Heirloom Pumpkin candle, and boiled the kettle.
My tea consumption is pretty much exclusively Bluebird Tea Co these days (which for some unknown reason I always want to write as Bleubird). Whenever I find myself in Brighton I make a point of popping into their beautiful store in The Lanes. The staff are always so friendly and wonderful, and never mind when I have to sniff every flavour twice!
Right now, I've been drinking a lot of the Maple Bacon Pancakes Tea, which was a birthday gift from my mama. With a spoonful of sugar it's the ultimate Sunday morning guilty pleasure. I'm also obsessed with Jelly and Ice Cream, which is especially delicious made as a cold brew and served over ice.
I always come back to the Gingerbread Chai though. It's the perfect mix of sweet and spicy, tastes great with or without milk, and is perfect for cosying up with a good book.
So this week it's been me, my Gingerbread Chai, my favourite West Elm blanket, and The Cursed Child! It felt so decadent to spend an evening just reading and drinking tea, but I could definitely get used to it!
