The Beauty Procrastination Tag

I've wanted to do a tag for ages, since I feel like you guys don't really know much about me (except for my obsession with handbag products) and I always wanted this blog to be quite personal. I was also thinking of doing a post, something along the lines of beauty confessions, so when I found this, I knew it was perfect!

1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do.

Moisturise my body. I have so many body cremes, butters, everything, but, I'm 5"11 and it just takes so long! I also hate that feeling afterwards when you wait for it to sink in. I tend to just spritz my legs with a Soap and Glory moisturising spray when I get out of the shower and that's it! I also never fake tan, I look silly with any kind of tan, I'm so pale!

2. Is washing your makeup brushes something you do regularly? 

Every Sunday night before I brush my teeth! I have to be religious with it, and build it into my routine, or I end up breaking out.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?

Oh god. I am absolutely awful with nail polish. I hate how my nails look without polish on, but I only ever get around to doing it like once a week, if that. I just find the process so boring, and my left hand always looks terrible! I'm even worse with my toes though, I have the remnants of some OPI nail polish I put on just after Christmas on my toes at the moment.

4. How long do you put off buying/replacing a beauty or nail polish product even if you need it? (i.e purchasing a new topcoat, or a new foundation etc.)

If it's something I use on a daily basis, I tend to buy it before I run out, but some stuff I leave for ages. Until last week, I didn't have a topcoat for more than six months...

5. What is your worst beauty habit?

Probably being lazy some nights and swishing my makeup off with a baby wipe ... don't shoot me, please!

6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?

Brushing my teeth. Because as soon as I brush my teeth, I'm basically asleep. Weird.

7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready until the last minute or not?

No, I like to leave enough time to get ready, with a fifteen minute buffer, in case of breakouts/wonky eyeliner/smudged eyeshadows and any other makeup disasters! I like to take my time getting ready, it's how I set myself up for the day. I like to sit down at my dressing table with a cup of green tea, and pamper myself.

8. Can you commit to spending bans?

HA! No. I am not capable of saving money.

9. How organized is your makeup and nail polish collection?

All my makeup is dead organised, it's the only part of my life that is. I keep my most used stuff in Muji storage on my dressing table, I have a little YSL box that has all my samples in too, and then everything else is ordered by product in drawers underneath.

10. What is the longest amount of time you have gone without writing a blog post?

Probably a week? There was a while when I had a load queued up, so I gave myself a little break!
