Two new MAC Lipsticks made their way into my collection last month (and I didn't pay for either of them, score!), and they've both fast become my staple lip colours for spring.
The first I acquired from Daphne (are you sick of hearing about her yet?), who bought a lipstick without doing her research properly (tut tut) and ended up with a lipstick that didn't work for her. Bad for her, but good for me, because she very kindly (and with me protesting) donated Coral Bliss to my collection. Coral bliss is kind of similar to Urban Decay's Revolution Lipstick in Streak, but less coral and more peachy. It's a really pretty peach shade that isn't too in your face, and really compliments my paler-than-Edward-Cullen complexion.
The second was a birthday gift from my parents that my Dad picked up for me in duty free (serious Jaye points for that) on a trip to Miami (he didn't take me, so he promptly lost a lot of Jaye points). Peach Blossom isn't actually really a true peach, but it's a pinky nude, with just enough pink to it to show up, and a hint of peach. It's a perfect nude for me, I struggle with nudes, they tend to wash me out, but this is just a nice, subtle pink.
As always with MAC, the pigmentation and wear time of these is fantastic.
I don't think any brand will ever compete with MAC with me, as much as I love the Urban Decay and Bobbi Brown Lipsticks, MAC just have every shade and every formula. Lipstick buying made easy.

ReplyDeleteThese look like lovely colours. I'm quite into sort of delicate peachy shades at the moment. There's something about them that just seems effortless and springy.
