Budget Beauty #4

Four mini drugstore reviews coming your way today, and they're a mixed bag. Some standouts, and some misses for me, but I'd love to know what you guys think of these! It's been a while since I've hit up the drugstore, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, it might just be time for a splurge!

No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream for Normal/Dry Skin

: No7 is not a brand I am massively familiar with, I own the odd product here and there but not much. This was a purchase last summer on the recommendation of my cousin, and I'm so glad I picked it up. It's super lightweight, and gives just enough coverage to even out the skin tone, it's long wearing and it feels nice on the skin. But the real draw about this is that it just looks like skin. You would never be able to tell you had any makeup on. Your skin but better, in a tube.

Maybelline The Eraser Eye

:

Whilst I'm not a fan of the packaging (

half of my product has leaked into the chamber that pushes the product out, rendering it unusable)

, this concealer is the bomb. I can only really use this when I'm tanned (

i.e. now, did you even notice)

, since this is the lightest shade and it's a little dark for me, but this stuff is THE BOMB for covering those undereye circles. Seriously, I just swipe this under each eye, bounce it in with my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and BAM, you could almost believe I had a full nights sleep.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl Kajal in Black:

I was in the market for a new black pencil liner (

one of the only products I tend not to stockpile)

, and decided to pick this up, since I'm a fan of the bronze and nude shades. Big mistake. This stuff smudges like nobodies business, seriously, within half an hour of applying it it's all around my eyes. Give this one a miss, and pick up the

Max Factor Kohl Liner

instead.

Maybelline Colour Whisper in Pink Possibilities

: A Stateside purchase from my trip last month, I was ready to fall in love with this but for me it fell a little short. It's a nice, summery pink shade, and it looks good on, but that's about it. The weartime is average, the pigmentation is average, and it doesn't feel particularly nice on the lips. It's nice, but a bit of a letdown, especially considering how much hype these get.
