I'm something of a lipstick whore, I flirt between shades, rarely using the same product more than once every two weeks. However, the last few weeks, my lips have been dominated by three shades, and three shades only (

For days when I fancy something bright and summery, I've been reaching for the
Love Your Lips Hydrating Lipstick in Playful Pink
, a bright pink with a sheer finish that is incredibly hydrating on the lips. This stuff is amazing, I wish I'd picked up another shade!
Next up, the
Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in Fig
, which is my perfect, my lips but pinker, lipstick. Incredibly long lasting, a gorgeous colour, and so so smooth on the lips. If you haven't tried this, you need to.
And lastly, a little drugstore nude option. It's showing pretty pink in the photo but it's a little nuder in real life, the
Soap and Glory Super Colour Lipstick in The Missing Pink
. Nice smooth formula, and good lasting power. I'm impressed.

They look really similar but I understand the sentiment.. when you find a color that works well on you.. you tend to buy more of it in different brands and formulations! I am guilty of that too :-)TheConscienceFund

ReplyDeleteOh I like the look of the Bite one, but I think it would probably disappear on my lips. I think my current favourite lipstick would have to be the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Frambourjoise x Becky @ The Little Blog of Beauty
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the Soap & Glory lipsticks - I've got the Missing Pink one but if you haven't tried the matte ones then definitely do :) they're a lovely consistency and last for ages!!
