So it's February! Home to Valentine's day, and often referred to as the most romantic month of the year. So I thought I'd give you a little peek into my perfume collection, so if you're after a new perfume to lure that man you've had your eye on to you, or a present idea from your man to you on the day itself, maybe you'll find something you like in my collection!
Now, I'm not really a fan of Thierry Mugler's signature scent, Angel, but Womanity and Alien are two of my favourite perfumes. They are both very strong, I generally spritz the air in front of me, and walk through it, so it's not too overbearing! Alien has quite woody undertones but Womanity is a lot more feminine. I tend to reserve these perfumes for evening wear, since they are quite striking, or I wear them if I need a boost of confidence, they make me feel like a strong, independent woman!
Vera Wang Princess has been my signature scent since my parents bought it for me three Christmases ago. It's sweet, girly, and floral, everything I love in a perfume! As you can see by the lack of liquid in the bottle, it's well loved! Calvin Klein's Eternity moment is a great little scent, that I chuck on when I feel like I need to be more mature! CK One Shock is an amazing, light and fruity scent, that reminds me of summer. It's a great size for chucking in my handbag!
Here are my fan girl perfumes! Katy Perry's Purr was a gift from my boyfriend, it reminds me of Parma Violets, which are my absolute favourite. It's sweet and the bottle is so cute! As for The Fame, I love this scent, it's a lot more muted than I expected from the likes of Gaga, and I really like it. This is another one of my go to scents for daywear.
Sometimes, I'm not in the mood for a full blown perfume, and that's when I head for these body sprays. The Body Shop's Mango body mist is the best fruity scent I have ever come across. It's lovely and light, and I tend to spritz it onto my clothes if I wear them a second time to keep them smelling fresh! As for the Victoria's Secret spray in Hard To Get, I got this for free in store as part of a promotion, and didn't really like it to start with. It turns out this is one of those scents that smells a lot nicer five or ten minutes after you spray it! I can't really put my finger on what it smells like, but it is really lovely.
And last but definitely not least, my Dad bought me the DKNY Be Delicious mini range from duty free on one of his many trips, and I instantly fell in love. These fruity scents are divine, and the pink scent is absolutely my favourite, it lives in my handbag for top ups during the day.
Next on my perfume hit list is YSL's Manifesto, I love this sweet fragrance!
