I always used to be really bad with skincare in the morning. I was a run a cotton pad of cleanser/micellar water/whatever I had to hand, across my face and then do my makeup, sorta gal. Slap on the hand I know. Now, I've been using the same products for a while, and they really work for me, and my skin is in the best condition it's ever been in.
When it comes to mornings, I like really light problems that wake my skin up, I save heavy products for the evenings when I'm shifting makeup.
I start off by taking the Vichy Purete Thermale Cleansing milk across my face on a cotton pad, to get rid of any dirt on my face, and give everything a good cleanse. After that I use my Lush Let The Good Times Roll, which you should all know by now, is my favourite skincare product ever. I mix a little of this with water, and just use my hands to scrub my skin with this. It's kind of a two in one product, it stops my pores getting blocked, and gets rid of any dead skin cells. If my skin is still looking a little lacklustre, I go in with Pixi Glow Tonic, which I love, it just makes my skin look brighter, healthier and glowy-er. After that, I spray the This Works Fresh Skin Toner over my face to refresh and hydrate, I like this because there's nothing nasty in it, and it's really refreshing.
I'm on my second tube of Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner, and totally credit it for minimising the pores on my nose. It's pretty pricey, it's around the £14 mark in Zest, but it's totally worth every penny. On top of that, I use the Origins Ginzing Face cream and eye cream, which is light enough that you can apply your makeup straight away after, but is super hydrating, and god it smells good!
What products do you use in the monings?
I just did a similar post about my skincare routine for combating acne and acne scars! These posts are so cool - I love peeping into the other products that bloggers love. I'm definitely going to try the Bioderm Sebium Pore Refiner for the area between my eyebrows where my pores get large. Thank, Jaye!http://oddlylovely.com/
