This Week I...

...realised my hair has actually grown a fair bit, enough that I can now blow dry it straight without it being wider than it is long. It's been a long, slow battle with my hair but I finally feel like I'm getting somewhere! Yay! If you have any product recommendations for getting hair to grow, please let me know!

...tried out a ton of Wintery nail shades. The little Essie set is really good, I can't wait for the full sizes of their Winter collection to be instore! I also love these new Maybelline Colour Show Brocades, so pretty!

...bought gingerbread syrup so I can make hot milk and gingerbread at home. I don't like coffee, but I really love the gingerbread taste of gingerbread lattes at Starbucks, so this is my compromise. In a Starbucks mug and everything.

...spent some quality time with my boyfriend. We've both been super busy with work and deadlines, and have barely spoken the past couple of weeks, so it's been nice to spend sometime together, even if it's just sat on the sofa chatting, or having a lie in to watch Revenge.

...went to the Ideal Home Christmas Show with my parents, and some family friends. It was really cool to wander round and get some home and Christmassy inspiration, and try lots of cheese and wine! We had a few drinks at the show and all went for dinner in the evening.

...made ham, asparagus and pea risotto and it was lovely. I've also developed a slight addiction to mint water, adding a few mint leaves to water during the day when I'm working from home makes drinking two litres much easier! I've also gotten through a few lemons too!
