What's On My Face #12: Currently Loving

I'm back with another WOMF post, and this time I thought I'd show you what a bunch of the products I'm loving right now look like on!

For starters, I primed my face using a sachet of the Make Up For Ever HD Primer that came with my Sephora order. I'm impressed by how far this sachet went, I got five days of primer out of it! It's a great primer, quite thin, it just feels like another layer of moisturiser, but it really holds your makeup to your face. Definitely something to look into next time I'm in the states. For base, I've fallen back in love with my YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation, which packs good coverage and still looks natural and glowy on the skin (without looking oily). For extra coverage on a couple of red patches, I of course used my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer because there's nothing better! I also used that under my eyes, and then applied a little of the YSL Touche Eclat on top, just to add a bit of brightness to my pre-deadline dark circles. Whilst I like the glow this foundation gives, I did add a little of the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Powder to my t-zone, really just to add a bit of extra staying power!

For eyebrows, I've been reaching for the Collection Work The Colour Brow Kit a lot, just to add a little bit of colour in the sparse areas in my brows. I love the brow gel in this, it holds your brows in place without them being crunchy! I then primed my eyelids with the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer which is the best eye primer I've ever used! I then used my Marc Jacobs The Lolita Palette, which I want to use for the rest of my life. There's no names on the shadows, but I took the matte cream shade all across my eyelid right up to the browbone, then the shimmery brown shade at the end of the palette all over the lid. I also took a little of the matte light brown in the crease. I love this look, it's gorgeous! I also took a little of the Smashbox Always Sharp Liner in Penny Lane along my lash line at the outer corners, just to add a tiny amount of definition. This is my holy grail eye liner and if you haven't tried these yet you need to! I then curled my lashes with the Shu Umera Lash curlers and applied the Maybelline Big Eyes mascara which we will be having a chat about very soon!

For cheeks I patted a little of the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Cheek Rush in Pink Patent into my cheeks with my fingers. This gives such a natural flush to the cheeks, and it lasts all day so easily. I also took a little of The Balm Mary Lou Manizer Highlighter along my cheekbones, under my brow bone and in the inner corners of my eyes. I'm totally obsessed with this, it gives a real glow to the skin when it catches the light.

And for lips? The Estee Lauder Pure Lip Shine in Plexi Pink, a gorgeous sheer bright pink that is a nice way to transition to a bold lip if you're a little scared of them, like me! These are incredibly moisturising, but still stay put really well, thumbs up all round!
