Makeup in a Hurry

We all have those mornings. You know the ones where you wake up and are already late? For these occasions I have a little bag of to-go beauty, that I can grab and apply on my way to wherever it is I'm late to.

The key to one of these bags is super easy to apply makeup. Things that you don't need brushes for and that are easy to apply. 

So for foundation, it's all about the L'Oreal Nude Magique Eau De Teint Foundation. This wears best if you apply it with your fingers, it has a matte finish that lasts really well, and it gives a good medium coverage. It's probably the easiest foundation in my collection, effortless to apply and on a good skin day you can skip concealer. If a concealer is needed, I'll go with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, easy to blend with your fingers and works well on under eyes and blemishes equally.

The one thing that does require a brush is my blush of choice, NARS Day Dream. I tend to always have a brush in my handbag for powder anyway, so I just use that to add a little of this to the apples of my cheeks. A cream blush might be easier, but this is the blush that just works best for me. It brightens up my complexion, and has a hint of shimmer so I can skip on highlight and still look glowy.

Eyes are so easy, I take the Kiko Shadow Stick no 25, a slightly shimmery taupe, all over the eyelid and then blend it out at the edges with my finger. Then I add lashings of the L'Oreal False Lash Effect Mascara which you guys know is my favourite. Length, volume, lift and curl, it does it all so easily. 

And lastly, the Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Punch, moisture and a slight pink tint. Can be applied sans mirror, and the pretty pink shade is super flattering.
