You guys seemed to like this style of post last month, so I thought I'd bring it back for another round this month! I've been doing well on the old sample use up, so I have lots to talk about!
First off, let's talk about the new Benefit Roller Lash Mascara that you can get in this month's Elle magazine before it's released on counters next month. I wasn't fussed about trying this mascara, I don't really get along with Benefit mascaras, but I needed to buy Elle for Uni, so I've been giving it a whirl this week. Safe to say this isn't for me, it's incredibly wet and it makes my lashes scary long and clumpy. Very spidery and not nice at all. Shame because the wand looked promising!
Next up, I got a mini sample of the Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm For Lips, with a Beauty Bay order this month, which I was excited to try since I've heard a lot about it! I like this, it's incredibly thick and unscented, and it's not sticky, but it definitely takes a while to absorb. This is a nice product, but I think The Body Shop's Aloe Vera Lip Balm is still slightly better.
My mum came back from a hotel this month with a bundle of This Works products from her room, which she kindly donated to me! Amongst them was a mini This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, which oh. my. god. If you struggle with sleeping like I do, you need to get this! I've already bought a full size, this stuff is amazing.
I've been trying to use up this Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream Sample, because I've had it kicking around for a while now. I like this eye cream, because it's kinda nondescript, it's thick and hydrating and it feels soothing to apply but does it actually do anything? Not that I can see. I will say this thing just won't die, so I feel like if you invest it'll last you an age!
And lastly, I've pulled out the Buxom Full On Lip Cream Sample in Mudslide from my stash, I got this in a Sephora order in the summer. It's a gorgeous nudey, my lips but better shade, and it's really pretty on! I like this a lot and it's tempting me to place another Sephora order!
