I've been obsessed with the Pantone Colours of the Year for 2016 since before they were even announced, Rose Quartz and Serenity are colours I've been reaching for for months and months. As someone who has a mostly grey wardrobe I find myself reaching for these colours in accessories to brighten things up a little.
Most recently though, my obsession has been wearing the shades on my nails. In particular, I've fallen head over heels for the Nails Inc Gel Effect Polish in Uptown, a gorgeous dusky muted pink that is everything Rose Quartz is and more. It's a pretty, demure shade that makes me feel like a real life grown up, I've been wearing it all month, and it's just always appropriate.
I do find the Gel formulas from Nails Inc to be a little hit and miss, but this one is great, thick and glossy, it's a one coat wonder.
