After watching Fleur de Force's Vlogmas and constantly drooling over her lipgloss all month, I finally bit the bullet and placed a FeelUnique order to try some of the products from her new makeup line. I've been using her lashes for a while now and I love them, they've totally made me become a lash girl, so I had high hopes for the range.
The lipgloss I was after most was the Written In The Stars shade, and when I saw a gift bundle containing it, I decided to order that!
The bundle contained the gloss, the Cosmic Bronze Eyeshadow quad, a pair of Simply Fleur lashes, and her makeup bag, a gorgeous watercolour inspired affair with rose gold hardware - it's simply delicious. It's a really great sized bag, and it feels really well made too. I'd used the lashes before and loved them, but the other three were all new to me!
Starting with the gloss, it was every bit as good as you'd expect. Not as sticky or thin as your usual gloss, but longwearing and nicely pigmented. The colour is a pretty everyday nude that I've gotten a lot of wear out of already, it's right up my street. Super impressed with this, I'd go as far to say it's the best gloss I've tried from the high street.
Moving onto the eyeshadow quad, the colours aren't anything new or exciting, but they are the perfect four shades for any look, making it great for travel. You've got a pretty champagne highlight, a neutral matte brown for the crease, gorgeous bronze for all over the lid, and a deep matte brown for defining. Whilst the formula isn't the best I've tried, the shades blend well, and it's definitely one of the better budget options I've tried. I'll definitely get a lot of use out of this, especially when it comes to streamline packing.
So the line gets a thumbs up from me! Have you tried any of Fleur's products.
