So my parents are headed out to the States next week (large huff of jealousy) and since it's my birthday in just over a month (and Valentine's day in a few winks MASSIVE HINT TO THE BOY HERE) they promised to have a look at some American goodies for me! MAC products work out a lot cheaper if you buy them in the States because of the exchange rate. So I thought I'd compile a list of my latest lust haves from there!
My absolute first choice would be the face and body foundation, when you buy the 120ml bottle it is much more reasonable than other MAC foundations, plus it just happens to be my favourite! Flawless coverage and MAC stay out coverage is just what I need! And what better to top it off than their Studio Fix Powder? Last time I wore both together, someone told me my skin looked like that of Snow White, is there a better compliment than that?
I've been after a Paint Pot since I discovered Lipssofacto, and heard Meg raving about their Groundwork colour. It's a great base for eyeshadow, and looks great on its own!
As for the eyeliner and shadow, I swatched both of these in store today and instantly fell in love. The eyeliner has incredible pigmentation, and applies much smoother than my Maybelline alternative. And the eyeshadow is a colour to die for! I tried it out with the 227 brush, one I haven't played with before, and it's a great brush!
And of course, there's always a lipstick. I've had my eye on Chatterbox for forever, it's a beautiful colour, and Amplified Creme finishes are my absolute favourite!
