34/52 - Burger King, Blogging Friends and Bed Days

This post is coming at you late this week, because yesterday I decided I deserved a day off. After a busy week, and then leaving the house at 6.45am on Saturday, and not return until 11pm, I was pretty much exhausted. So yesterday I ignored my to do list and did nothing. It was blissful.

This week has been busy and drizzly, but happy too. I've made a lot of time for the good things, if only every week was like it!
  1. I woke up on Monday morning to sweet words from Lola. Sometimes, the blogging community is so gosh darn lovely.
  2. Connor and I finally set up a joint bank account for bills, rent and food shopping, does this make me a proper adult now?
  3. On Tuesday I felt really run down, so mid afternoon my mum and I stopped working, pulled out the blankets and snuggled down on the sofa to watch Eat Pray Love. Not the best film in the world, but it was good to recharge and I now want to travel to Bali to stay at a yoga retreat.
  4. I had a late night Burger King craving and I decided to go with it. I hadn't had a Burger King in over two years but it was just as delicious as I remember.
  5. Con and I played chauffeur to my dad and his friends on Thursday, and had an hour to kill at 9.30pm. There's pretty much nothing open at that time so we settled down with a cup of coffee in McDonalds in Southampton. They have tablets built into the tables that you can play games on, and we had a right old giggle.
  6. I visited The Bloggers Market on Saturday and raided Carrie's wardrobe. That girl has impeccable taste.
  7. I also got my hair braided, and had a little illustration done of me. It's the cutest thing ever, and I want to frame it, but I'm worried about appearing a little vain!
  8. I finally got to meet Allie & Jordan, was reunited with my best girl Daphne, and put the world to rights with the lovely Natasha and Katy. Blogging friends are the absolute best.
  9. Spending most of Sunday in bed. Bed is great, everyone should spend more time in bed.
  10. Sneaking out mid afternoon on my lazy day to have tea and cake with Con and my sister. Tea is the only thing worth getting out of bed for.
I hope you are all having a happy Monday so far! x
