Sometimes, the last thing you want on your face is an inch of makeup, but you still want to look a bit more presentable than your 'I woke up like dis' face. And that's okay, but not all concealers look good when blended into the skin, some need foundation to really disappear. And if a concealer isn't undetectable, it's only going to draw more attention to the parts you want to hide.
Never fear though, there are a select handful of concealers that get the job done, foundation or no foundation, so I'm rounding up four of my favourites today.
Let's start with the Rimmel Match Perfection 2in1 Concealer and Highlighter. Now you want to keep this stuff away from blemishes, because it's great for adding light to the skin. I like to take this in a big undereye triangle, and down the bridge of my nose, and just blend it in with a densely packed buffing brush. It counteracts redness and dark circles, and gives a bit of illumination to the skin, all whilst being untraceable.
Another good one for all the same places is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser in the Brightener shade. The salmon pinky tones of this completely neutralise dark circles, but it's not thick or cakey, so it doesn't leave a trace.
A good all rounder is the Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer Pencil, which is not only easy to apply, but also works equally well on undereyes and imperfections. I just draw this on anywhere I think I need it, and pat it in with my fingers. Simples.
And lastly the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, which is just thebomb.com for basically everything. Apply this with gay abandon all over your face and rest easy that you now look fabulous.
