Bioderma was one of the first micellar waters on the scene and it definitely started something of a micellar water trend in the UK. Nowadays, a lot of brands, even on the highstreet, make micellar waters, and it seems to have become a preferred method of makeup removal for a lot of people.
For me, I love to use a thick cream cleanser, but micellar water comes in super handy for getting the bulk of my makeup off before hand. I started off with Bioderma back when it was pretty much the only micellar water on the market, and then I started experimenting with different brands.
And since then, I've tried a lot, from Garnier to Soap and Glory to Sephora to Nuxe, I feel like I've been around the micellar block. And yet despite the fact it's not the cheapest or the easiest to get ahold of, I keep coming back to Bioderma.
For me, whilst other micellar waters have their merits, Bioderma feels the most like actual water on my skin. It doesn't smell, or leave a residue, it doesn't dry my skin out. It's reliable, it gets even stubborn eye makeup off, and a little goes a long way.
I think I'm done experimenting, Bioderma is the one for me!
Are you a micellar water kinda gal?
