Because everyone loves a good Homesense haul, right?
I don't know what it is about this store but it's just god damn dangerous for me to go in. I pop in with the best intentions to just browse, and leave with my bank balance considerably lighter every single time.
This time, I figured I'd round up my purchases here, then publicly vow not to return for the forseeable future, so you can all keep an eye on me!
Starting with the purchase in the picture above, I just couldn't resist this wooden 'imagine', especially with it's copper painted bottom. It's the perfect piece for the unit at the end of our bed, which was looking a little bare. It's got cutouts on the back so you can hang it on a wall too, so when we move to a flat where we are actually allowed to hang stuff, I'll be popping this up! At £9.99 I thought it was a bit of a steal!
Let's be real here, if you know anything about me, you knew a big section of this haul would be stationery based. It's not my fault - it's a problem!
Let's talk about my favourite thing first, the Fenella Smith notebook with the adorable pugs. I mean, come on, who could resist that?! Aside from the fact it's got a monocle toting pug on the cover, this is actually a really nice notebook, thick soft pages get me every time. And for £2.99, it was a bargain!
The little mint and gold book is actually a 4x4 instagram album! This is my favourite size for scrapbooking, I get my photos printed at 4x4 and then accessorise with stickers and washi. They can be tricky to get ahold of though, so I snapped this one up at the tiny price of £1.99.
Con spotted the bulldog clips and passed them over to me, knowing I needed some for the board behind my desk. I love the little sayings on them, especially the one that says 'get a grip'! These weren't the cheapest at £4.99 but I loved them!
And lastly in the stationery category, I couldn't resist the marble and pink sticky notes. Marble and pink? I'm all over that.
And lastly, let's talk beauty, because again if you know anything about me you knew there'd be some beauty bits.
I was quite surprised to spot the Victoria's Secret Coconut Passion Body Milk, who knew that Homesense stocks VS? Coconut Passion is my favourite scent, so I snapped this up to keep on hand for post-shower moisturising.
NARS has been cropping up in TKMaxx & Homesense for a while now, but normally weird shades of products. This time however, I spotted the NARS Instant Line and Pore Perfector for £6, bargain, right? I haven't put this to the test yet but I'm excited to give it a go.
I've been intrigued by the Library of Fragrance scents for a while, so I was pretty excited to spot them in store. They had a few scents but I went for Mango, as it's my favourite fruity scent. I love the smell of this, but I'm not convinced it wears well on the skin! Regardless, it's a good size to keep in my bag for on the go touch ups.
I picked up a new Wet and Dry brush because these are my favourites for blow drying my hair. My last one was looking a little ragged, and this one? Well this one is copper, so yeah.
And lastly, I picked up the By Nature Textured Waves Leave in Salt Spray, because I'm always on the hunt for a good salt spray! I have high hopes because I love the By Nature body products, so fingers crossed this is a good'un!
