We all feel a bit meh sometimes, whether you're fighting off a cold, feeling anxious, or just having one of those days. Unfortunately, the world doesn't stop every time we don't feel tip top, and a lot of the time, we have to keep going too. When those days arise, these are the products you want to turn to.
If I'm feeling a bit pants, the first thing I do is jump in the shower, because I find that always perks me up. I have a big old bottle of the Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash on hand for this very occasion, the sweet lime and vanilla scent is super uplifting and really helps wake you up, and leave you feeling squeaky clean but oh so smooth.
Post shower I like to get a little crazy with the Original Source Skin Quench Moisturising Oil Spray with Watermelon and Jojoba. It's perfect for the mornings because it sinks in instantly, gives the skin a real hydration boost and most importantly, smells amazing (are you sensing a theme here yet?).
When I'm not feeling tip top, I love to chuck on the Origins Drink Up Intensive Mask. This stuff is fantastic because you really only need to leave it on for 10 minutes, and it gives your skin a real boost. I like to pop it on whilst I brush my teeth, pick out my clothes and make a cup of tea, and then wash it off before I apply my makeup. It hydrates and plumps the skin, making it look and feel better instantly. Plus, you guessed it, it smells fantastic, just like orange sherbert.
There's nothing better than a spritz of uplifting perfume as you walk out the door. I was gifted a bottle of the Harajuku Lovers Lil'Angel Perfume in a goodie bag this month, and I didn't expect to like it, but I ended up loving it. It's got notes of juicy berries and sugared rose, as well as a hint of lollipop accord, whatever that means. It's perfect for spring summer, and it really gives me a boost in the mornings.
And if at the end of the day you're still feeling rubbish, there's very little on this earth a bubble bath can't help with. I keep a block of the Lush Brightside Bubble Bar on hand for these days, the citrusy scented bubbles are what dreams are made of!
What do you turn to when you're feeling meh?
