Another week has flown by and I find myself wondering where the time is going. I'm certainly not achieving much!
This week has been a mixed bag, I had a horrible panic attack on Tuesday, and for the first time in forever I wasn't at home when it happened, I was out in public. It's a lot harder to calm yourself down when you're aware there are loads of people watching you, and you're not surrounded by your creature comforts. I felt really drained for the rest of the week, emotionally and physically run down as a result of everything that happened. I'm definitely feeling better now, but it's taken a while!
There's been a lot of good in this week too, so without further ado, happy things!
- Starting the week with a perfectly ripe avocado. There's little in life more satisfying than a perfectly ripe avocado.
- A cheeky Weatherspoons breakfast with The Boy. Sometimes you just need a cheap fry up. It was surprisingly delicious!
- Going into Primark for the first time in forever and finding not one, but THREE things I love. Feeling very smug!
- Treating myself to a duvet day to recover from Tuesday's antics. The boy, his dog and I stayed in bed eating the dinner I couldn't eat from the night before and watched Top Gear Specials. It was the best.
- My sister invited me over for dinner this week, she lives at her boyfriend's house in the week since it's closer to work. We made a lasagne together and it felt good to have some sister time!
- Going for a bit of an explore. I needed some fresh air so we decided to walk to the supermarket instead of driving, and ended up walking the long way home via the riverside, negotiating overgrown paths and beautiful flowers. It felt good to get out in the sun!
- We headed back up to London Friday to pick up a few bits and as much as it's been nice to be home, it's also nice to be back in our own space! It was hard leaving home though, the pups were so sad when I left!
- The boy and I splurged on a new duvet for the flat, since ours was passed it. It's possibly my most favourite thing ever, and now it's even harder to get out of bed.
- Finally being reunited with my main gal Daphne, for Ikea meatballs and a little perusal of the sales. This girl is the bomb.
- Cuddles with my cat. She has no sense of elegance and falls over a lot. But she's great.
Have a great week! x
A perfectly ripe avocado?? Where did you find such a miraculous thing? I thought they were a myth made up by supermarkets to sell us ripe and ready avocados!
