Hate The Price, Love The Product #2

As a luxury-beauty-lover, there are a fair few products that I love so much, but cringe when I think about the price tag. Some products are worth the splurge, but it doesn't make handing over your hard earned pennies any easier.

I recently repurchased the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation, a product that I just couldn't be without. This is, without competition, my favourite, holy grail foundation. It's so lightweight on the skin, but it's got a really easy to build coverage, if you need it. It's got a not matte but not dewy, natural finish, and it looks flawless on the skin. The only bug bear is the £33 price tag, but for me, it's worth every penny.

Whilst I love perfume, I never thought I'd splurge on something of Diptyque price points, but I spent a good year lusting after Diptyque Eau Duelle. I was lucky enough to receive this as a birthday present, but it's a slippery slope, I can't see myself being without it now! It's such a gorgeous, unique scent, that lasts so well on my skin (unlike the likes of Jo Malone scents that vanish after an hour). With a £58 price tag, I'll be saving that splurge for a special occasion!

I'm no stranger to high end shadows, but the Marc Jacobs The Lolita Palette was a particular splurge. At around £40 for 7 shadows the price is pretty intense, but the quality of the shadows makes it all worth it. Also, unlike some other palettes, I use every single one of these shades regularly. It's a great palette for everyday and special occasions, and the packaging is so luxe, it's just an all around good investment.

The Makeup Forever Aqua Lip Liners are not exactly budget friendly, but if you want a lip colour that will not budge no matter what, there's nothing better. These things are seriously long lasting and totally waterproof, the best I've ever tried for lasting power. Worth every penny.

I thought that I might include one non beauty article too this time around. As much as it's a blogger cliche, I love Rifle Paper Co stationery. Not only because it's beautiful, but because the paper quality is fantastic, and when you write as much as I do, that matters! They're really pricey, but for my everyday notebooks, I pick up the Botanicals Collection three packs, which are a little cheaper, and save the super pricey ones for the good stuff!

Are you a high end lover?
