Sunday Well Spent

 They say a Sunday well spent brings a week of content, and if that's true I'm in for a fab week. This Sunday we got up early and headed down the beach in the campervan, armed with food, tea and deckchairs. 

We got down the beach a little after nine, and ate our breakfast (cinnamon rolls and a ton of melon) in the Cali, before propping ourselves up in deckchairs with a stack of magazines, to laze in the sun. I drank a lot of peppermint tea, and the boy ate a Mr Whippy the size of his face. He was quite impressed with it, as you can probably tell. I was quite jealous but I did steal a bite of his flake!

We stayed put until around two and despite wearing sunscreen I managed to burn my legs quite badly. It was just utterly blissful lying back with my eyes shut, basking in the sunshine!

I definitely felt ready to tackle the week ahead!
