I imagine that everyone's feeling their pockets pinch a little more than usual right now, the season of gift giving can take it's toll on the purse strings that's for sure. So for today's round up of budget beauty, I'm rounding up the best of the very budget, with everything coming in at under five british pounds.
Let's talk about my favourite shampoo first. I think I've mentioned this before but it deserves a post a day if you ask me. The Herbal Essences Fresh Balance Shampoo is a clarifying shampoo, so it really strips every last inch of grease, product, dirt from your locks. But the great thing about this particular one over others on the market, is that it doesn't leave your hair feeling over stripped, you can use this every time you wash your hair without it feeling harsh, or like it's drying your hair out. It's got a gorgeous fresh citrus smell, and it comes in at £4, although it's always on offer somewhere.
Two options for lips to discuss, one to give you a boost of hydration and the other to stop your lipstick going everywhere. I'm a big fan of The Body Shop's Honeymania Lip Butter not only smells delicious, but it really is a fantastic lip balm, offering instant relief to dry lips, and sinking in quickly to boot. Also worth a mention is good old Lipcote, who for a mere three pounds will stop your lipstick from migrating to everywhere else on your face. Worth it, if you ask me.
I mentioned my bargain eBay brushes in my November favourites, but in case you missed it, they were £1.46, I repeat, £1.46. Bargain. They're fantastic blending brushes and I can't fault the quality, for that price, you can't really go wrong! You can pick them up here.
I'm pretty sure everyone wants delicious smelling hands, right? Well I do anyway, and you really can't go wrong with the Bath and Bodyworks Hand Sanitizers. They've got a ridiculous range of mouthwatering scents and they cost a grand total of $1.75. I'll have one of each.
And lastly, I wanted to give a shoutout to the Optrex Bright Eyes Eye Drops, which have saved me on many an early Monday morning, or late Friday night from dreaded dry eyes. A handbag staple.
