We all have those mornings where we wake up and it feels like your eyes have just given up on you. For me that's normally every day ending in a Y - getting out of bed is my least favourite part of the day.
Lucky for us though, the beauty world has developed a few products that make mornings, well, not quite pleasurable, but certainly more bearable.
I start off with a few drops of the Optrex Rehydrating Eye Drops for Dry Eyes, to get rid of the dry, itchiness not enough sleep leaves me with. I then go in with the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Triple Remedy, the peachy cream helps neutralise dark circles, whilst hydrating and cooling the under eye, making them feel less tired.
I normally give that a few minutes to work it's magic before going in with make up. I love the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in the brightener shade, but it's pretty hard to get hold of outside of North America. A good alternative is the Benefit Erase Paste, although admittedly pricier. I do find this needs setting with a good powder, but it's peachy tones and soft texture make it perfect for making the eyes look naturally more awake.
I also like to give my lashes a few pumps with the Shu Umera Lash Curlers, which gives a little lift and curl, and makes my eyes generally more awake. I've tried a lot of lash curlers but these are by far the best I've used!
