What's On My Face: The Drugstore Edit

It's been a long time since I've shown you some slap on my face, so that's what I'm doing today! I figured it was the perfect opportunity to showcase a few drugstore loves, old and new, in action.

I'm almost out of my Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, so I've been putting it through it's paces again as I try and use it up. I think this is my favourite foundation from the drugstore, it's not matte or too dewy either, it's got a good medium coverage and looks very natural on the skin. It's also easy to build up in any areas prone to redness which I like! I set it all in place with my Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot, which forever remains my favourite budget powder, lightweight and not at all cakey.

I kept cheeks simple and just opted for a swipe of the No 7 Pop and Glow Blush in Classic Rose on the apples of the cheeks. This is easy to blend out with your fingers and just gives a pinch of colour to the cheeks.

My brows desperately need threading so I haven't been doing much to them (they're basically beyond help) but I still like to set them in place with the L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper, which adds a little extra definition to lighter hairs, and keeps things in order.

I've talked about this Kiko Shadow Stick in Endless Taupe a fair bit recently, so I figured it was about time I showed it on me! I love how easy this is to use, I just scribble this onto my eyelid and use my fingertip to pat it down. It's incredibly longwearing and it's one of those shades that just goes with everything. A few coats of the Max Factor Masterpiece Mascara and eyes are done.

And finally, star of the show, the Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in Pom Pom Girl, a new obsession of mine. A pretty deep berry shade that's easy to apply, and dries completely matte so you don't feel like you're wearing lipstick at all.

What are your current drugstore favourites?
