:: Look Up :: It's amazing what you can spot when you look up. So much of the time we are so focused on getting to where we need to be, we forget to look around us.
:: Bake :: So often I forget the pleasure of fresh, home baked goods, remembering instead the time and effort involved in making them. Autumn is the perfect time to brush off your apron and try some new recipes. On my list is cinnamon cookies and Chai muffins.
:: Back Up :: Your phone, your files, your photos. It’s not worth the risk.
:: Treat Yourself :: To a bottle of cider, a Lush bath bomb or a new snuggly blanket. It doesn’t need to be expensive, just something to make you feel good.
:: Cook an Epic Roast Dinner :: Heavy on the Yorkshire puds and gravy. My favourite additions also include duck fat potatoes, honey roasted carrots, and asparagus wrapped in bacon. Invite family or close friends, and have the perfect cosy Sunday afternoon.
:: Read :: Pick up a new book, a magazine you’ve never seen before, or binge read some blogs.
:: Switch Off :: Your phone, your laptop, your TV. Go outside, take a camera, and capture anything that makes you smile.
What do you need to make more time for?
