Luxury Beauty Edit #4

You guys know by now that I have a soft spot for high end beauty. I can't help it, I like a little luxury in the mornings! Today I have another round up of high-end products that deserve  a mention.

First off, lets chat tools. The majority of my makeup tools are reasonably priced, either Real Techniques, Nanshy or Blank Canvas Cosmetics, and they're all great, but there are a few tools with a higher price tag worth a mention. Thanks to the wonderful Daphne I finally have a Beauty Blender in my stash, and so far so good. I don't use this for foundation because it takes a long time, but it's fantastic for applying concealer and making it look natural.

I've also been reaching for my Dior Backstage Professional Finish Powder Brush*, for basically all my powder products. It's got a good shape for applying stuff to the cheeks, but it's not so tapered that it's hard to apply powder with. I love this for setting my makeup, it gives a really light coverage which I'm all about, but it's also great for blush, bronzer and highlighter because it doesn't deposit too much product. Pricey, but a good investment.

I bought The Balm's Frat Boy Blush back in New York in July, but I've only really started using it recently. It's a gorgeous matte peach blush, which seems an unseasonal pick for October, but when applied lightly this is beautiful with a smokey eye. The pigmentation and lasting power of this is fantastic, and it blends out really nicely. And for a 'high end' brand, not too pricey.

And lastly I wanted to give a little shout out to the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolour eyeshadows, that I'm freaking obsessed with. They're definitely my favourite cream/liquid eyeshadows, they're so easy to apply and crazy pigmented. I've had Playa Del Pink for a while now, and it's the perfect all over champagne shade, so easy to wear. I've now got Bora Bora Bronze too, which is perfect for autumn, easy, one step smokey eye.

What are you loving right now?
