5 Product Face #3

Sometimes, makeup needs to be easy. You want to look better than your makeup-less self, but you don't want to put any effort in, girl, I've been there. Right now I'm busy working toward my Uni deadlines so this is happening a lot, so I've filled my beloved Whistles pouch with five speedy products for easy makeup application.

The NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser deserves all the hype it gets. When ease is the name of the game, I just take a blob of this on the back of my hand, and then I use my fingers to blend it into my skin. It gives a really natural look, it's by no means high coverage, but it's pretty glowy so it gives life back into your skin and counteracts any redness. It's long lasting and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin, so I know I don't have to touch it up throughout the day. I've been skipping concealer and just building this up on any areas I feel need a little more coverage.

I like to add a little colour back into my cheeks, because I feel like it really gives my skin the perk it needs when I'm tired. The Dior Rosy Glow Blush is amazing for this, because it's a super bright shade but it's really sheer, so it's kinda hard to go wrong with, it just gives a natural glow to the cheeks. Super simple, and it's a gorgeous looking product to have in your makeup bag.

For eyes I've been keeping it super simple and I've gone back to using my MAC Paint Pot in Constructivist. This product is just so winter appropriate, it's an easy smokey eye. I pat this onto my lid with my finger and then I just use a soft blending brush to blend it all out. In this picture I actually did two layers on this day, for a more intense colour, but just one layer is nicer for a less dramatic look. Mascara is something I never skip, and recently I've been reaching for the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara, which is just a nice day to day option, not massively lengthening or volumising, but it defines the lashes nicely. Nothing dramatic, but it does the job.

And lastly I've been loving the NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in Rikugien, a nudey-peachy-berry lip pencil that just gives your lips a little something something. It's a really comfortable formula, you can't feel it on your lips but it still lasts a long time for a glossy lip colour.

And that's a job done! The whole thing takes under ten minutes and it makes me feel put together even when I'm not!

How do you get ready fast and easy?
