What's On My Face: The Autumn Edit

I know, I know, that's more pictures of my face than you wanted to see. Sorry about that.

It's been a while since I've shown you what I've been using in action, and there were a few products I wanted to show you guys!

I've been using the travel size of the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, which I definitely prefer to the oil free version. This is super hydrating and really smooths out the skin for foundation. I've been switching between two or three bases for the last couple of months, but I thought I'd use the Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow here, a product I've had in my stash a long time, I often come back to it and remember how nice it is! I feel like bold lips can sometimes make dark circles look worse, so I went all out on the under eye concealer. I started with the Maybelline The Eraser, which really provides coverage, and then went in with the L'Oreal Stylo Lumi, to brighten. I also took the L'Oreal offering under my browbone to brighten that up too. Still a little dark but a marked improvement. I set it all with the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot powder, since this foundation can get a little too glowy.

I then took The Body Shop's Honey Bronzer, under my cheekbones, around my temple and down my neck a little just to add in a bit of warmth, and give the illusion of cheekbones under all that pizza fat. I used my Gosh Natural Blush in Electric Pink, which as you can see, is far from electric, more muted and dusky, and perfect with a bold lip. I took a little of The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer along the tops of my cheekbones and under my brow bone, only a tiny amount, you could just see it when the light caught it.

Eyes are really what I want to show you here, because I used my beloved Urban Decay Naked 2 Basics Palette. I started with the Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer, to even out my lids, prevent creasing, and really make the colour pop. I then took the lightest shade from the palette, Skimp, all over the lid up to my brow bone and in the inner corners, before taking the shade Frisk across my lid to the crease. I took a tiny amount of Primal in the outer v, and blended a ton. A little winged liner with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper, with the L'Oreal Super Liner Mat-Matic in my upper waterline, and lashings of the Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara. A tiny amount of the Soap and Glory Archery just to fill in any gaps in my lashes, and that's a job done! This is the eye look I've worn pretty much every day for the last two months and I absolutely love it, it goes with every lip colour in the world!

I'm still obsessed with the Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107, and that's what I'm wearing here. It's such a pretty bold red with a hint of berry in there. I'm not much of a bold lip gal but I do love this. I use a little Lipcote to seal it in place and I'm done!

What makeup have you been wearing recently?
