5 Things To Buy in January

Another month, another round up of products you should be splashing your cash on. This month the theme is bright, natural looking skin, which is generally my goal this time of the year, when my skin is looking a little tired.

First up, we've got the Origins Ginzing Eye Cream for creating the illusion that my undereye bags aren't the size of Geneva. It's hydrating, brightening, and it absorbs fast so you don't have to hang around before you apply your makeup. Easy and effective! Also worth mentioning, my favourite under eye concealer, the MAC Mineralize Concealer, which does an awesome job of concealing and brightening my face. It's good enough that on minimal makeup days, I can skip foundation and just blend this out under my eyes and down the bridge of my nose. Good stuff.

Following the theme of brightening, I like to knock out the Revlon Photoready Skinlights, around this time of year. A drop of this patted into the cheekbones does wonders for brightening the skin, and giving a good natural glow to things.

I generally find that cream products look a little more natural on the skin, in particular the Jouer Cheek and Lip Tint in Petal. This patted onto the fleshy parts of the cheeks, just gives a pinch of colour, a hint of natural flush. It's long lasting for a cream product, and it's good for on the go too.

I don't know about you guys but I'm deep in battle, winter vs. my lips, and right now, I'm winning. It's all down to the Caudalie Lip Conditioner. It doesn't look like anything special, but it's thick, creamy, hydrating, easy to apply on the go, and the effects are long lasting. My new handbag favourite.

And if you're after a non-beauty purchase, pick up the new issue of Blogosphere magazine, and you might even spot yours truly inside!

So those are my recommendations, but what have you got on your wishlist for this month?
