- Use a gel based moisturiser. It'll absorb faster and won't leave a residue on your skin. I like the Origins Ginzing!
- Primer. Primer. Primer. Prime everything. Your skin, your eyelids, your lips. It almost acts as a glue, keeping your makeup on your face. I love the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer, Smashbox Photo Finish Lid Primer & Charlotte Tilbury Lip Liner.
- Buff everything in, and when you think you're done, buff it again. Taking the time to really press your makeup into your skin means it'll stick around much longer.
- Set your cream products with powder products. A pretty cream blush will last a thousand times longer if there's a powder blush over the top, or a little translucent powder.
- Less is more. Overload your face with product and it's more likely to drop off. Go for a lighter coverage foundation and build it up in layers slowly, don't go all in with a ton of product at once.
How do you make your makeup last longer?
