I've never listened to a podcast before, although the idea has always appealed, it's just one of those things I never quite got round to. After hearing a couple of people talk about it, I figured Serial would be right up my street. I'm totally hooked.
If you haven't heard about Serial, it's a story told week by week, told by a woman who is investigating whether a teenager killed his ex-girlfriend 15 years ago. Sounds simple, but it's pretty complicated, and you become really invested in it! If you're into things like CSI, or NCIS or crime documentaries, you're probably going to enjoy this!
I've pretty much become hooked on this, I listened to it on the plane, I listen to it while I do my hair, I listen when I should be writing my dissertation... I've only got one episode left which I'm a little worried about! It's addictive, it's like a real life murder mystery! When I need to unwind after working on my dissertation, I've been reaching for this, I can just lie back and close my eyes, and relax, which I can't do watching a film or series.

YES. I love Serial so much! I've been listening to an episode every night before bed and I just finished it yesterday, can't wait for the second series. x

I may have to investigate this, it sounds intriguing! I love kevin smith (director of mall rats, clerks, dogma etc) and he has a podcast he hosts with ralph Fatman called Hollywood babbleon where hey chat about movies, celeb news and batman but it's all very blue and funny and there's a live audience for every show. It's great, can't recommend it enough
