Last month, my girl Daphne took a mini break to visit friends in Poland - cue a weekend of me not knowing what to do with myself (seriously am quite lost without her). However, when she returned with bags from Sephora & Bath & Bodyworks in tow, all was forgotten and I was extra excited to see her.
Before I get into the bits, can I just point out that it's really stupid that England has neither of these stores. They'd do so well here, even if I was the only one who shopped there (bye bye money).
Having just finished up my beloved Cinnamon Sugar Donut Candle from B&BW, my main request was something autumnal/cozy/warm to burn throughout the colder months. For some unknown reason Poland was still stocking the summer range, despite it being the end of October, so choices were limited. I ended up with Warm Vanilla Sugar, which smells exactly how it sounds, it's a really warm and cosy scent, and it makes me excited for cold weather.
I took advantage of the Summer stock still being available, and got Daphne to grab a 3 wick version of Watermelon Lemonade, that I only managed to find in travel size when I was in the States last year. I freaking adore this scent, it's fresh and fruity and delicious, the perfect perk me up while I'm working fragrance. Big props to Daphne for lugging these back in her hand luggage for me (you da best girl).
My Sephora wishlist was pretty restrained, unfortunately European Sephoras don't stock Bite or Tarte, otherwise it would have been a different story. I finally got my mitts on the Sephora Oil Infusion in Iced Coffee, which has already become an autumn/winter handbag staple. It looks like a gloss, but the oil formula means it feels incredibly smooth and hydrating on the lips, and not at all sticky, it just sinks into the lips parting a hint of sheer colour. The shade is a beautiful 'my lips but better' nude with a tinge of brown, it goes with everything and is super easy to apply even without a mirror.
And lastly, Daphne picked me up two of the Sephora Eye Masks. I bought the Green Tea one back in the summer and loved it, it's incredibly refreshing and really wakes up the under eyes, so I got another one of those, and she also grabbed the Honey one, which is supposed to be incredibly nourishing, perfect for this cold weather!
Do I have the best friend or what?!
Have you bought anything recently?
