This week has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Daphne left this week to move home to Taiwan, so a lot of the week has been spent moping and frantically checking my phone for texts from her. Like a lovesick teenager.
Despite that, a lot of happy things have happened this week, which is a good thing because I needed a little sunshine!
1. One final hurrah with Daphne and Con - burgers at Honest the night before Daphne left to go home. I'm so lucky to have a best friend and boyfriend who get on so well, and it was great to get one final night of good food and giggles in.
2. One final sleepover with Daphne before she left. We had drinks, giggles, dancing to Taylor Swift, everything a good girls night needs.
3. The reaction of my puppies when I arrived back in Bournemouth after dropping Daphne at the airport. The perfect pick me up!
4. Spending a couple of days in peace and quiet, cosied up in my room working with a cup of tea and a cat. I love going back to my parents' house so much.
5. A family outing for dinner! It's been a while since the four of us all went out for dinner together, and we indulged in nachos, fajitas, steak and sticky toffee pudding!
6. A long luxurious bubble bath and an early night. It's the simple pleasures!
7. A Friday morning fry up with my parents before a long drive back to London. Nothing beats a good english breakfast.
8. Hanging out with the lovely Allie, complete with Pizza, beauty products and brow threading. All of the giggles and all of the fun.
9. Being reunited with Con after a week apart! We celebrated with a mini Pret Picnic out in the Saturday sunshine, I love this time of year so much!
10. A mini Bath & Bodyworks delivery. My flat now smells like a sexy man!
Next week will be a busy one because it's The Mr's birthday! Hope you have a great week! x
