Quite often around this time of year, my skin has a little weather-induced freak out, it feels incredibly dry, and putting makeup on it is the last thing I want to do. Sometimes though, I still need to wear makeup, so I opt for products that are really comfortable on the skin, products I don't notice I'm wearing.
The L'Oreal Infallible 24h Foundation is my go to for these kind of days, pressed into the skin with a damp beauty blender, it's almost undetectable. It still gives just enough coverage so I look presentable, but it's hydrating formula means I don't really notice it on the skin. It doesn't dry out throughout the day, it just gives the skin a bit of natural juicyness.
There are a lot of great cream blushes on the market, but a lot of them feel tacky or sticky on the skin. I love the Chanel Cream Blush in Revelation, a muted pink shade that is formulated almost like a mousse. A little of this patted on to the cheeks will stay all day, but you won't feel it at all, it blends seamlessly into the skin.
Eyes are always tricky when you don't want to wear makeup, and I'll often skip them altogether, just opting for a coat of waterproof mascara. But when I do want a little something something, I go for the MAC Electric Cool Eyeshadow in Superwatt, which again is almost moussey, and is so easy to blend onto the lid with your fingers, and is incredibly light on the skin.
And finally, I'm totally in love with the Sephora Oil Infusion Lip Gloss in Iced Coffee, which is exactly as it sounds, an oil based lipgloss that is incredibly hydrating and not at all sticky. Super comfortable to wear, and gives the lips a good moisture boost too.
