Lattes + Laptops: Everbean

I spotted Everbean way back when I went to Taylor St Barista with Daphne and had been meaning to check it out for forever. So when Katy, Natasha and I needed a place for our breakfast meeting near Bond Street, it seemed the perfect time to try it out.

We arrived bleary eyed and half asleep at 7.30am, an altogether ungodly time to be in Central London, and after being pointed in the direction of a menu, we placed orders, and made ourselves at home at a giant round table in the window, looking out onto the pretty side streets of Mayfair.

We ditched the laptops and opted for iPads and notebooks, discussing blogging, social media, and a few passion projects too. Despite being sprawled out across the biggest table in the place, we weren't in the way, and I for one quite enjoyed being near the hustle and bustle of the counter, it felt cosy and homely.

I opted for a poached egg and sundried tomato roll, served hot with a big pot of Teapigs Winter Spiced Tea, which both get a big thumbs up from me. Katy wolfed down her avocado on toast faster than I could photograph it, and the same can be said for her latte, which I only just managed to snap before she destroyed the pretty pattern. Natasha gave her Chai Latte a big thumbs up, and was particularly pleased that she was able to help herself to honey for her toast, no skimpy toppings found here.

Despite being a stones throw from Oxford Street, Everbean is reasonably priced and super friendly too. From 8am there was a steady stream of customers, you can tell it's a well loved local hub!
