New In From The Drugstore

Over the last month I've been putting a lot of drugstore products to the test, some of them are new to the aisles of Boots and Superdrug, and some of them are just new to me! I thought I'd consolidate the lot into mini reviews here, and then if you want to see a more detailed review of any of the products, or see them in action, you can let me know in the comments!

Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer: The highstreet is sorely lacking a kick-ass budget-friendly primer, but this one hits the mark for me. You only need a little and it just gives your skin the perfect base for your foundation, just the right texture.

L'Oreal Infallible 24 Hour Foundation: Possibly my new foundation love. The perfect shade match (015) and a really comfortable, hydrating formula. Not sure about the 24 hour wear claim but it looks natural on the skin whilst giving good coverage too.

L'Oreal True Match Concealer: Very similar to the Lumi Magique Concealer, except less glowy. I have this in a shade that matches my skin, so I can use it all over, not just as an under eye highlighter. It blends nicely, but it's not got quite as much coverage as I'd like. A nice natural option though.

L'Oreal Infallible 24hour Matte Powder: A good highstreet setting powder that mattifies, offers coverage and doesn't look cakey. Thumbs up.

Collection Contour Kit: A real drugstore gem, I raved about this in my October Favourites. Pigmented and easy to blend, and under five pounds, this give natural looking shape to the face.

Soap and Glory Sexy Motherpucker Gloss Stick in Purple Rain: I love that they've repackaged and resized these (and repriced, hello £3.50 price tag), and this shade is an autumn winter wonder. Perfect for a hint of colour. The formula of these is super comfortable and really sticks around.

Rimmel The Only One Lipstick in One of a Kind: It's rare for a makeup line to drop a whole new lipstick formula, so it was only right that I had a little nosy. The formula is super pigmented but also creamy and hydrating, which is an unusual combination (and a lovely one). One of a kind is a berry toned red that's perfect for this time of year.

Rimmel The Only One Lipstick in Naughty Nude: One of the only nude shades in the new line, but a very flattering shade. At £6.99 these lipsticks are a real gem.

Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in Under My Spell: These have been repackaged too, and are now a handy twist up as opposed to a pencil that needs sharpening. The formula of these is superior to every other drugstore liner, and this shade is the perfect autumn berry.

L'Oreal Lip Liner Couture in Intense Plum: More pinky toned than the previous lip liner, but a beauty nonetheless. Super longwearing and a gorgeous shade.

Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion: I love the formula of these liquid lipglosses, longwearing and beautifully glossy, they wear down to a pretty stain of colour. This shade is everything I love about autumn.

Barry M Super Natural Eyeshadow Palette: A Superdrug exclusive, this palette is reminiscent of the Naked 3 Palette. Save your pennies and splurge on this instead, it's great.

MUA Romantic Efflorescence Palette: My new favourite. Awesome pigmentation and blendability (see swatches above), and a gorgeous shade range. A steal at £4.

Maybelline Big Eyes Waterproof Mascara: I loved the normal formula of this but the waterproof version is really dry and does very little for my lashes. Boo.

Rimmel Salon Pro Polish in Mistify Me: The perfect nudey greige. The formula of these polishes is impeccable.

Revlon Colourstay Gel Envy Polish in Hold'Em:  A greigey lilac shade of autumnal dreams. Can you tell I like my greiges?
