If you've followed me for any length of time you'll know I'm a big Lushie. Pretty much since the good old days where my dad did some work at the factory and bought back the biggest box of products you've ever seen, it's been my go to for bath, body and skincare too.
Lush recently had a bit of a shake up of it's line (sad because they got rid of some of my favourites, but also kind of nice since the line hasn't changed much over the last few years), and I took the opportunity to get out of my 'Lush Comfort Zone' and try a few new things, and repurchase a few old favourites too. These bits were my favourite!
I was recommended the Big Blue bathbomb by a lovely staff member in the Westfield store, and I freaking love it. I was after something to soothe my aching muscles after a long and busy day, and this did the job just right. It's packed with sea salt, rosemary and lemon and lavender oils, it's just the ticket for relaxing and soothing. I'm now in the habit of keeping one of these on hand for after those long days!
Also in the bathing section, I'm on my second Karma Bubble Bar. A heady mix of patchouli and citrus, this is perfect for those cold wintery nights we seem to be getting more and more of. Anything that fills my bath with giant purple bubbles is a winner for me.
The Comforter Bubble Bar has been a favourite of mine for a long time, so when they released a matching shower cream, it was a given that I'd fall in love with it. I have a big bottle back at the flat, but I had to pick up a mini bottle for my parents house too! It's warm and comforting, it's hydrating, and the perfect scent for the changing seasons.
Something a little different, I picked up the Gymslip Dusting Powder before my holiday. Marketed as a post-workout powder to soothe the skin, I actually like this for hot days, dusting on bare skin to stop it sticking to leather seats and the like (gross, but true). It's done the job, it's made my skin softer and it smells fantastic, like Neroli and Bergamot. A good alternative to moisturiser if you're not a body moisturiser kinda gal.
And last but not least, an oldie but goodie, I picked up a new pot of Let The Good Times Roll, and I can't remember why I let myself run out. It's the perfect manual exfoliant, gentle but effective, and it smells of popcorn!
