The Unexpected Eye Brush Love

When it comes to eyeshadow brushes, I pretty much stick with my MAC 217 and it's dupes, they're great for applying product and getting it all blended out in the crease. I never felt like I was missing anything because it's such a good brush shape, it really does the job.

When I bought the Zoeva Rose Gold set, I was excited to put the Luxe Petite Crease Brush to work blending matte colours into the crease. And largely, that's what I've been using it for, along with blending out liner along the lash line (it's small, tapered end makes it perfect for that!). That is, until a few weeks back when this was the only eyeshadow brush I had that was clean.

Since then, I've been using it for everything, placing highlight on the browbone and inner corners, patting colour onto the lid, blending it out at the edges, building up a contour shade in the crease and blending out liner. It's small shape makes it more precise than the 217, yet it's still soft and great for blending!

I'm definitely going to be placing an order for a couple more of these brushes!

What's your go-to eyeshadow brush?
