How To Spend £30 in Boots

One of the things I get asked most (as I seem to have become family & friends' go to for beauty questions) is, what should I buy in Boots. Often, the question comes from friends who live overseas, and so I always try to recommend purse friendly products, that mostly aren't available in other countries.

So say you have £30 to spend in Boots, this is what I recommend you spend it on!

Boots Botanics Hydrating Day Cream All Bright - £4.99: Most of what I've tried from the Botanics line has been great, but this is my favourite product from the line. A moisturising day cream that helps add brightness back to the skin, and keeps things nourished, but not greasy. I can't see this not working for anyone!

Soap and Glory Kick Ass Blur and Brighten Concealer - £6.00: This is a rare concealer that works well for undereyes, redness, and even looks great without foundation. The crayon shape makes it super easy to apply too.

Natural Collection Powder Blush in Sweet Cheeks - £1.99: How this blush is simultaneously so cheap and so good is beyond me. Soft and pigmented, easy to blend, and a pretty shade. You can't go wrong.

Seventeen Eye Eye Shadow in Rose Quartz - £3.89: Soft and pigmented, easy to blend, and oh so bloody beautiful. This shade is a beautiful shimmering taupe with pinky tones. It's stunning, and you'll get change from a fiver.

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist - £3.50: They recently repackaged these and bought the price down, amazing news for anyone who didn't already have one. The perfect nude lip that's not matte, drying or glossy. Good stuff.

L'Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss in Smoke Me Up - £6.99: This one is available outside of the UK, but man it's so good I think everyone should have it. A liquid lipstick in a deep berry shade that dries beautifully matte and stays put all day. A firm favourite.
