Five weeks into my spending ban and a week before my birthday, I guess it's unsurprising that the notes section of my diary has turned into an overflowing wishlist. Can you believe I haven't bought any beauty bumf since January?! That, my friends, is growth.
Either way, what better way to start a Monday than to share with you my lust list. We've got everything from beauty to handbags, so settle in and get ready to drool.
The Beauty Bits
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser: A base product that has intrigued me for a really long time. When I bought my NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette back in January the lovely lady in the shop gave me a few samples of this after I mentioned I was interested, and I've fallen in love. This is by far the highest coverage tinted moisturiser I've ever tried, but it still just feels like nothing on the skin. I was matched up to the shade Groenland and it's a good match.
Benefit Gimme Brow: I am Queen of the no-fuss brow. I don't like to faff with them on a daily basis, but I want something that will hold them in place (for short face hairs they are mighty unruly) and add a bit of tint. The reviews I've seen of this all make it seem like the perfect product for me, so I'm keen to try it out!
Bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow 2.0 The Epiphany: After seeing this reviewed over on Sleep and Water, I fell in love. I don't have an eyeshadow duo that I can pick up as a failsafe, everyday, I don't have time to think about what colour combo to use, and this looks pretty damn perfect.
MAC Peach Blossom Lipstick: I gave this an in-store swatch last month and instantly fell in love. A sheer, wearable everyday pink lipstick. I have a serious gap in my collection for this lipstick and this will probably be the product I cave on first!
Diptyque Eau Duelle Eau De Toilette: I definitely don't need another fragrance but man this stuff smells good. Like vanilla crossed with spice crossed with sexy man. Ridiculously expensive but it smells so good.
No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Brush: My skin has been going totally nuts recently so I've been on the hunt for something to calm it down. I never bothered jumping on the cleansing brush bandwagon before because they're all so pricey, but this one is much cheaper, and hey, how different can a £200 face toothbrush be from a £25. It's still a face toothbrush.
Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade: I was sold on this after watching Daphne's Get Ready With Me Video, it's fierce brows in a pot. Need, need, need.
The Fashion
Zara City Bag with Zips: I am currently obsessed with all things powder blue, so when I saw this bag in Tamira's What's in my Bag video, I knew I just had to have it. I've been on the hunt for a bag this size since before Christmas, I love all the sections, the cute zip detailing, and oh boy the colour...
Barts Honeydew Scarf: Still on the blue thing here, I love the print on this scarf, it's ever so pretty and feminine, but not too heavy so it's perfect for spring! I have an ASOS voucher so I might end up picking this up when my spending ban is over!
Topshop MOTO Black Baxter Skinny Jeans: I bid a sad farewell to my black skinnies last month, and I desperately need a new pair. I love the fit of these jeans (I tried them on in store last week) and they are black as black, not that horrible not quite black that you know will fade after the first wash. I practically lived in my last pair of black skinnies and getting dressed is so much harder without them as a fall back option (they definitely needed chucking though, there was a hole in the crotch big enough to birth a child. Why do jeans always get holes there?!).
The Bizarre
Candle Wick Trimmer: A lot of my candles have started chucking out thick black smoke which a quick google search informed me that that means the wick has gotten too long! When you're dealing with a big candle it's not easy getting in there with scissors, so I'm definitely in the market for a handy pair of trimmers.
Whittard Peach Melba Tea: When I was at the lovely Daphne's place last week I spotted a pot of this and it reminded me of my everlasting love for it. I finished my last pot back in the summer when excessive iced tea was the name of the game, and as the weather starts to get better, I'm reaching for fruity teas again.
A New Teapot: When I moved last summer my teapot got lost in transit. Because I spend a lot of time at home and I'm a ridiculously lazy human, I like to make my tea in a big teapot so I can drink three cups of tea at my desk without having to get up.
