I say this every time I write one of these posts, but it's true, I have to really love a product to repurchase it. I'm a new thing magpie, as soon as the latest releases hit the shelves, I drop the products I once declared love for, and fall in love with the latest and greatest. I'm also an advertisers dream, so I tend to get sucked in to buying anything that I see an advert for. You get the picture, I don't often buy the same thing twice.
However, every now and then, the impossible happens, and my undying love for a product prevails. Since Christmas, I've made a couple of repurchases of old loves, and I couldn't be happier about it.
First up, let's talk hair. I'm now on my third can of the CoLab Rio Dry Shampoo, and I've got two mini cans floating around in handbags too. Providing you give this stuff a good old fashioned shake, this doesn't leave even a hint of white cast in your locks, and will return them to former, clean glory for the day. Anyone with a fringe, you need this in your life.
Back at the end of January, I had a Space NK N.Dulge reward burning a theoretical hole in my reward card. After many an afternoon perusing the counters, I finally decided on a worthy splurge, a repurchase of my beloved NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. After six months without it, I'd kind of forgotten just how good it really was, but now we are reunited and I can't see myself letting it go ever again.
And finally, as a naughty, pre-birthday treat to myself, I picked up a new tube of my one true mascara love, the YSL Shocking Volume Mascara. I'm a big believer in drugstore mascaras, there are so many awesome ones out there (my favourites are mostly from L'Oreal!), that there's no need to splurge on pricier options. However, I've never found a mascara that does what the YSL Shocking mascara does to my lashes. Thick, voluminous, long, fluttery lashes in one swipe. I haven't had a tube of this since I stopped working for YSL, I couldn't bare to part with that much money on a mascara, but when Debenhams had £5 off, I decided I deserved a birthday treat! It's everything I remembered it to be, and one day, when I'm super rich, it'll be the only mascara I ever buy.
