I'd had my eye on a few of Clinique's more recent drops over the last few months, so when I was kindly gifted a voucher to Debenhams by the press team, it didn't take me long to decide where to spend it.
The Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop caught my eye a while back, and I have to say, it's not what I was expecting. I was expecting the formula of these to be slightly more intense, but they're pretty light and buildable, which is nice, but I was expecting them to give a real pop to the cheeks. Either way, this colour is beautiful, a really bright pink different to anything in my collection. I love how pretty these are, I think the clear plastic packaging could have easily looked cheap, but it's so thick and the closure is so smooth that they don't at all. And that embossing is so pretty! This lasts really well on the cheeks, and I think the price point is pretty good too (£16.50), it's not far off drugstore prices!
A more recent release, I had my eye on the Clinique Colour Pop Lipstick in Melon Pop, but when I got to the counter, I decided it was a bit too peachy for me and I ended up picking up Nude Pop instead. It's a typical me shade, a nude that's not too brown and not too pink. In the bullet there is a hint of shimmer to this, but it doesn't translate to the lips at all. It's seriously long wearing, and it's a lot more comfortable on the lips than most long lasting lipsticks. I'm not totally sold on the packaging, but for the price (£16) I can overlook that!
